How to use a proxy with Postern

1. Import or manually add a proxy profile

Open Postern on Android, tap Profiles > Add Proxy, and choose your proxy type: SOCKS5, HTTPS, or Shadowsocks. Input the IP, port, and authentication details from your RapidSeedbox account. Name and save the profile.

2. Create rules to control traffic routing

Go to Rules > Add Rule. You can create domain-based, IP-based, or port-based rules to route specific traffic through your proxy. For example, direct only gaming traffic, specific apps, or blocked domains through your proxy tunnel.

3. Enable the profile and route all or selective traffic

Switch to your saved proxy profile and toggle "Start Routing". Postern uses Android’s VPN service to tunnel traffic system-wide. You can set rules for global proxying or per-domain/app targeting - great for debugging, scraping, or geo-unblocking.
